Milwaukee Show

I just wanted to thank you for coming to Milwaukee and the show was absolutely amazing and more than I could even imagine.  It was something I've been waiting to experience for about 14 and when you're 23 thats a long time!  Then just by crazy coincidence we ended up at Zen bar and I was able to meet you, which just is the end to a perfect night.  Thank you for taking the time to let me tell you my ridiculous story and take a couple pictures with me.  It meant a lot.

We were in the front row and all I can say is DAMN!!!!  Your performannce was stellar, as usua!  It was great to hear Bush, Institute and of course Wanderlust!  I got some great pics and video!  I also wanted to say that you and your band members are such sweethearts!  I partied with you backstage after the show and all of you were such gentlemen!  It's nice to know that you take the time to get to know and chat with your fans!  Your passion for music is undeniable and so is your stage presence!  Thanks again and I hope to see you again soon!

Come 2 ohio.....ill make ya some buckeyes!!lol

Hey Gavin! Just wanted 2 say for the last fourteen years i have listened 2 your music. I have wore out three Sixteen stone cds, now my Razorblade Suitcase is skipping, Golden State was stolen outta my car, and now im working on Wanderlust (almost feel bad for the poor cd it doesn't stand a chance with me!) lol But i wanted to thank you for your amazing talent and gift of your voice. I am so bummed that i missed you in chicago tonight...i have never had the pleasure of attending one of ur shows. Hope you make it to the ohio area soon. So great to see you back at what you do best. As for the Wanderlust album I am loving the solo Gavin (how could u not!) but theres a little part of me that misses the whole Bush experience. No matter what i'm forever a fan.
                                                                                           Best Wishes & success,
                                                                                                             Amanda

drove from iowa to see ya

Hey, my friend and I drove from Iowa to make it to this Milwaukee show. Got lost in Madison a few years back seeing Bob Dylan, and was not overly excited to be in the area. Was excited for the show, no doubt! Listened to Golden State, Sixteen Stone, Science of Things, and Wanderlust on the drive up and we threw in a bit of the Frames and Tom Waits too. Sorry for not being totally exclusive!

Gavin, first off, thank you. Thank you so much for being out there on the road playing shows for your biggest fans, and the newly initiated. Having just recently gotten into your music, and Bush, I'm a fan of the new album as well as the old gems. To have heard Glycerine, Zen, and Swallowed was awesome. But Frontline, Cant stop the world, and this is happiness were just as good. cheers mate. Those newer tunes really come alive in person...more than I couldve dreamed.

The venue was sweet. That chandilier was amazing. Great building, great AC, and good acoustics. Top drawer on the sound mix too! Met the mixer before the show, and asked if I could get backstage...he seemed busy so I scornfully slunk away.

It was great to meet other fans. Great, great people. I think you've got some of the nicest fans I have met. Everyone was in a good mood--even beforehand when I told them there was not a chance I'd be sitting during the show. Good thing no one was! Kudos on playing Swallowed for us, I was the idiot yelling for it before you played it. I swear you said something to the effect of "this joker has a request...okay..."

would love to know what was said, it was a noisy bunch!

Thanks again Gavin and company for  a great show. come to iowa!!!
